If you’re bold enough to keep a tarantula or other large spider as a pet, bringing home a dinner of live crickets won’t phase you. But it takes more than food to keep a pet spider thriving. You’ll also need to make sure you choose the right terrarium—your pet may need room to move around—and a way to measure the humidity in their habitat. At Petco, our pet spider store has the solutions you need to create the ideal habitat for your eight-legged friend.

Brown recluse or wolf spider?
I have a seven year old red knee female tarantula. She has been climbing her tank and has been extremely active and refuses to eat. Recently I have noticed a few mites in her tank on which I haven't experienced before. I think maybe perhaps I need new substrate and maybe a bigger tank. What do you suggest?
Small puss filled hole in dogs armpit. Don't know if it's spider or if she got in fight with other dog. About 2mm diameter and appears deep
Suggest a online site for budgie toys so that my budgie can play with it

Sparkles has been bitten by a Brown Recluse spider. The bite is on the top of her head. It is now the size of a silver dollar. We can’t afford to pay for her to go to a vet. Is there anything we can do here.
