Good to keep crickets hydrated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster and Fluker Farms in exchange for my honest review. The packaging is good and shows the product well and has a good description. The ingredients are great and they provide a great water source for crickets. It is a great value. It is very effective to keep the crickets watered. We use crickets for our bearded dragon and tarantulas. It seems to do what it is supposed to. Our pets are healthy and thriving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Noticed my crickets did not die as fast, not sure if I noticed a huge difference but I will definitely be utilizing this in the future! They look like orbeez and smell funny but honestly a solid product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While these are good and work well. I am not sure how I received these since I do not own any animals that require crickets. I did pass them on to a friend though. value and packaging is bright and reasonable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best cricket quencher i have used yet! You’re getting your value for your buck. Doesn’t dry out fast like some do, I leave mine in the cricket house for about a week as pictured for about 50 plus crickets, sometimes longer! Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cricket Calcium with some chopped of veggies for food so the crickets aren't munching on each other as much. I also bought Flukers Calcium to dust the crickets with before I feed them to my lizards. All 3 of these combined seemed to help quite a bit. The Crickets are no longer drowning in the water they love this Cricket Quencher and the Cricket Calcium. I'd definitely recommend buying all 3 right away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product to use versus having to keep water in the area. It does have dye in it. The effect of this versus water is more of a convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s so much easier than traditional methods. Now tasty cricket “snacks” can be held at home instead of going to the store. Money and time saved. Like it!

Questions

1 - 6 of 6 Questions
Sort by: Newest Answers

Do I refrigerate this product?

  1. Refrigeration not required.

Could this product be good to use as a source of water for superworms?

  1. I use this with my superworms as a supplement water source along side fresh fruit/veggies. They seem to love it as well!

Is this supposed to smell like rotten eggs?

  1. Hi geckolover27, We have verified with the manufacturer that this is an issue that is caused by the water used for the production of this product. They were using a filtration system in place that is supposed to remove the odor, but it may have been down for maintenance. Please be assured that although there is an odor, there is nothing in the product that will harm the animal that eats the cricket. Thanks

Can this product be used as a water source for the reptile itself?

  1. Reptiles should always have a source of clean, fresh water available. Some, like arboreal geckos and chameleons, may only drink off leaves and so should also be misted, but I at least give mine the option to drink if they want to.

Can this be used for..

  1. Thank you for your question. The Cricket Quencher is specifically designed to work with crickets. We cannot recommend it for use with any other species.

ok as i understand it this product is food and water, right?

  1. you should have a food source as well...the liquiid has calcium which is good for your aminal who consumes the crickets...but to keep the crickets alive longer, I use orange cubes...that is a food source....there is also a Fluckers Crickets food powder which is a little cheaper...
