The ScoopFree replacement trays make cleaning the litter box easier than ever. Each tray can last up to several weeks, depending on the number of cats you have and their habits. All you do is take out the old tray, cover it with the provided lid and throw it away. When you first get your ScoopFree self-cleaning litter box, you may have to monitor your cat and the waste level in the litter box to effectively gauge how often you will need to replace the tray.
Select Repeat Delivery from Petco for a ScoopFree subscription service that automatically sends replacement trays to you at the amount and frequency you choose. You’ll never run out of kitty litter or replacement trays again.
Using regular cat litter in your ScoopFree Litter Box is not necessary or recommended. The automatic raking feature will rake it away after each use from your cat, and extra litter will cause the waste storage bin to fill up sooner than needed. The absorbing crystals in the ScoopFree litter box tray work better than standard kitty litter, so the added steps and expenses aren’t necessary.
Reusing a ScoopFree tray is not recommended. The absorbing crystals do such a good job of holding on to your pet waste that it’s best to throw away the old tray and replace it with a new one entirely.

I adopted 2 kittens at 3 months who are now 10 months old. Brother & sister. Their main area is a room with their beds, food, water, and 2 litter boxes--one is Scoopfree with automatic cleaning, and the other a regular litter box, from which I scoop feces every day. Someone has decided to take a piece or 2 of poo out and bat them around the room, when I'm not there. What can I do to prevent that?

Hi, I find myself having to vaccum the entire appartment twice a day because of my cat's litter spreading everywhere as soon as she does her business and exits the litter box. This is too much maintinance especially when I only have one cat. I have a litter matt and a big closed litter box to minimise spread of litter but still this happens everyday.
