Hi my 13 year old cat has just been diagnosed with diabetes. She has been in 1 unit of prozinc insulin for a week now.On Sunday she started limping wobbling and the vet has put her on nutriquin and says it's arthritis but I think it's neuropathy. Today she has hardly moved and is unsteady.Im so stressed and worried.I read that vitamin b12 would be helpful Is that true ?

Why isn’t my cat feeling better after a week on insulin? His diet was changed, insulin x2 at 2ml of prozinc. My cat also has feline herpes which lead us to take him to the vet. Azthroymicin didn’t work and he was than given blood work. CBC, chem 7 and glucose. My cat is my soul mate and I want to make sure I am doing everything I could. Glucose levels showed diabetes.. 370. After a week of the insulin, ending a second round of antibiotics (begins with a V)... we started doing glucose testing

can I give my dog human insulin for diabetes

My diabetic cat is on proving insulin which is expensive. Is there an otc human equivalent insulin?

Hi, I have a beagle female, 10 years old. A year ago was diagnosed with diabetes, she is blind, have cataracts. We pass vet to vet, and caninsulin doesn’t work, we try put once per day, twice, and multiple times per day. Even 60 units of caninsulin and her blood sugar never down of 400, weighs 16 kilos, I attach the photo of her last blood tests, are in Spanish, I’m from Mexico. Thank you so much.

My dog, 24 lb schnauzer, was just diagnosed with Diabetes. Vet prescribed 6.5 insulin twice a day, original glucose level was 450. Vet sold us Vetsulin insulin and told us to not shake, only draw when clear. after a week blood was still 450, reading vetsulin website they say it is suspended and should be shaken. Vet has now prescribed 10 units twice a day, I am scared this is way too much. advice?

My Doberman pincher was diagnosed with urinary incontinence last year. She was prescribed proin 75mg twice a day and after fighting with her to take it for a month I looked for natural ways to help her and I have tried quite a few ones that either didn't work or only worked for a month or two and then stopped. Can you guys recommend something I can try that could work like proin that's natural that I won't need a prescription for? Thank you.

The pharmacy have me Novolin 70/30 instead of Novolin N for my 12 year old lab. He takes 22 units. Can I still use this insulin ?

Hi, my friends dog Jasper ate proin 50. he ate like half the bottle. he is 7 months old and weighs about 40 lb. they were for her other dog Kylie and it was like a brand new bottle. she already called an emergency vet but they said to call Poison Control but poison control is $75, which she doesn't have. Websites say to use peroxide. Should she do that?
