New pure bred lab puppy on the way, will be 8 weeks old when I bring him home. I am overwhelmed by the food choices. I am on a budget but will buy whatever food I need to that is healthy for my dog. Best puppy food for labs that won’t break the bank? And training treats? Again cost is a concern but i dont want to buy him something that isnt good for him. Thank you!!

Hello, I am an expat living in Nicaragua. My choices for dog food are limited to a dozen brands. I can buy Alpo, Dog Chow, Pedigree, Doggi and a few cheap Cargill brands. On the high end there is Pro Plan, ProPet, ProPac, Mira and Iams all of which are $100 for a 40lb bag. Can you recommend a good dog food from the list above. I really don't want to spend $100 for a bag of dog food if there is no reason to. My dog is a mutt with 40 doberman in him. He is 2 years old. and weigh about 38 lbs...

This question is for David Elebeze. Recently there has been speculation that purina wants to buy champion pet foods for 2 billion dollars. And champion foods won't comment on this rumor. Also there is a lawsuit that has been filed against champion pet foods because of heavy metal contaminants. Does this mean this isn't a quality brand anymore? Please explain. Thank you.

I have a basset hound 1 year old and an 8 month old lab. we free feed, iams Lamb with brown rice formula, but these two act like they are starving but I go through 40 pounds of food every 11 days. I use Iams with lamb as U also have a 4 yr old SShi tzh that doesn't tolerate beef very well. I need a suggestion please.
