Both of my birds seem to destroy everything made of wood in their cage whether it be a ladder or their perches, what is somethjng I could do about it, I don't want to switch to plastic perches.

I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?

Can I take a shower with a Amazon Parrot? What temperature range water is safe? Do I need to give them a cuttle cone? What to chew one? How often do I have to take them for beak/wing/nail trim? What size cage? It would probably be out a lot because I am home most every day. Only gone on Fridays. I want a bird that can do almost everything with me and not too small. About a medium bird? I've been doing research before I get my cockatiel and one topic I've seen a lot of controversy on is sanding perches. Both on whether to use one or not and where to use it. If you advised to get one where do you advise me to put it? I saw some people say use it as your feeding perch so that the bird is forced to use that and other people say leave it elsewhere and the bird will use it as they choose?

Would it keep a bird awake if I had an audio book on in the room my bird is in at night? She would be covered. Would an amazon parrot fly out if my door was open? I am scared if I get a bird that a door would be open down stairs and the bird up stairs but a door down stairs would be open! Would that happen? Is this a big enough cage for this bird??
