Showcase your aquatic habitat on a pedestal stand designed to complement your aquarium. Aquariums require the support of a strong and sturdy stand so they cannot be knocked over. We recommend double checking the weight or gallon limits of the stand. The size you choose must be stable enough to support the tank’s weight. The main goal is to keep your fish safe and secured anywhere in your home, whether you place your stand on a wall or near a corner.
That depends on the size and weight of your aquarium and the sturdiness of the dresser. But considering that a midsize aquarium can weigh more than 200 pounds, an aquarium stand specifically designed to securely support your aquarium is a better choice. Shop Petco’s wide range of tank stands to ensure the safety of your fish and your aquarium.
To keep your fish and aquarium safe, we do not recommend putting any aquarium on a stand that is not wide or long enough to fully support it.

I’m getting a 20 gallln tank and I would like to know what are the best tropical freshwater fish that I could get? I would like to get a pleco, but he would get to big for my tank, so I’m wondering if I could donate him to my locomotive petco in The Dalles Oregon? Thank you I love PetCoach!!!
We recently bought a 20 gallon fish tank for our house. The tank is currently only holding 16 gallons of water. We currently have 11 fish and 2 snails in the aquarium, totaling to 16 inches of fish (if you count the snails as fish). That’s following the gallon per inch of fish rule. However, my family wants to add more fish. Would we be safe to add more fish or should we stick with the 13 fish we have?
What is the best gecko or other small reptile for a beginning reptile keeper that is relatively cheap not counting snakes because my boyfriend won't let me have one. One of my local pet stores has tokay geckos and leopard geckos the other one has a couple more options within my price range but I am still asking for advice. I have a 20 gallon aquarium to keep it in at the moment but I can go larger as it grows if I need to
