Vetoquinol

Hi today my vet prescribed Vetoquinol Care triglyceride omega liquid supplement for kidney health. Tony doesn’t like kidney food so combined with his phosphorus binder we are trying the omega liquid in his diet. Earlier a PetCoach vet suggested some other supplements- vetriscience omega 3 6 9, azodyl & standard process renal support. Are these similar supplements to the Vetoquinol omega or should they be used in addition to Vetoquinol? Thx

A fellow pet owner suggested Vetoquinol Methigel for my cat who had a history of bladder stones (a calcium stone) 8-10 years ago. Does this work effectively to balance the urinary pH?

My dog has had loose stools for about 2 days now I’m been feeding him just white rice and chicken broth for right now he’s a 15 year old male fawn pug I’ve been giving him Vetoquinol ProPectalin AntiDiarrheal Gel for Dogs Cats (30 cc)

My pug mix Bailey has allergies that cause her to always scratch her paws. I make sure they stay clean when she comes inside and I've been giving her Vetoquinol with Omega 3 but doesn't seem to help. I've been spraying her paws with a mixture of Epsom salt,non-filtered apple cider vinegar,peroxide, and water. It helps her paws but I've noticed her skin is dry and flaky. what else can I try? She gets bathed monthly at Petco and eats grain free food.

My cat is a 8 year old American shorthair. She's healthy other than having developed a cough in the last month. We took her to the Vet. They prescribed "VETOQUINOL LAXATONE". I am to give her 1/2-1 teaspoon for 2-3 days, then 1/4-1/2 teaspoon 3-4 days a week. I am asking how to administrator it. She only eats dry food. She won't eat it by itself. Could I put it in a syringe? Or, do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi I’ve just started giving tony a Vetoquinol Azodyl supplement for kidney health. What kind of physical results should I see, if any, and should it show any improvement in his renal values next time I take him to my vet for labwork? He’s also just started taking a triglyceride omega 3 Iiquid supplement. He won’t eat any of the Rx kidney diets available so I’m trying these things in hopes of helping his early kidney disease. Dental oral care...which products to use? Was suggested OralVet, as its the one which digests in the dogs stomach is swallowed in big chunks. but not readily available in most stores. Is there a comparable product readily available, safe and easily digested?
