I have 10 rescue cats, all ages from 2 months to age 4. I have been feeding them Purina one wet/dry mix daily. I however feel that the cats over 1 year should be eating kibble for urinary health to keep them from getting urinary tract infections. Our 9 year old boxer mix recently and suddenly couldn’t keep his balance, fell, tilting. Disposition stayed the same, ate & drank normally, no problems with the bathroom.Took him to the vet in under 24 hours of noticing symptoms. Vet ran blood, urine analysis, did xrays.. everything came back great. I asked about vestibular disease and the vet swabbed his ear w/qtip but didn’t run tests since swab came out clean. Should I press vet to run test to rule inner ear infection?
Senior beagle lethargic, won't lift head past shoulders, slow movements. Some full body shivering. Noticed today 2/13. Eating, drinking and bathroom habits are normal. No past illnesses.
