My dog was diagnosed with a superficial eye ulcer on 9/14 (took her to ER immediately when I noticed something wrong). She was given 10 day's Tx with Vetropolycin. Took her to regular vet yesterday for a re-check and it's still there! She said it's tiny now, but Tx must continue until gone. They put her on Terramycin instead. What is the difference in these medications and what are the chances it will heal with this Tx? I read these things should heal on their own in 3-5 days...worried.

My dog is fighting 2 really major fights right now and are all tied to food intolerance . The vet kept her tonight since 10 days augmentin and recheck showed blood in her urine. My dog is 13 years old with heart murmur condition and has been taking Fortikor for 3 years now. Vet has advised not to put her on athestisia to do dental cleaning. Her teeth is rotten and 3 tooths have fallen out within a month. Been putting Dental Fresh in her water every day and been using Biosilver Multi Purpose Solution spray for her teeth as hopefully an added protection. What other steps can I take to minimize further aggravation of her teeth and gum condition?

My 20 year old female domestic shorthair was just prescribed Orbax, 1 ml/day, 20 ml oral suspension for a UTI. She is impossible to "pill" or dose with the syringe, but usually will take it in chicken broth. Today is the 3rd wasted dose and I'm starting to panic. No matter what I mix it up with, she rejects it. We hate to try to force pilling or syringe dosing because she is getting frail and we don't want to injure her. Please help! She's still doing great at 21, just stubborn. I love her
