My dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis and small intestinal dysbiosis a couple weeks ago. He was put on low fat food and Tylan powder at that time. He is getting a massage this weekend and they use essential oils on the skin, inhalation, and through ingestion. I am wondering if there are any specific essential oils or kinds that we should avoid that might interact with the Tylan powder?

She has been on and off again having diarrhea. Took her the vet and they put her on meds. She's been on a strick chicken and rice diet. Diarrhea is yellowish runnie and you can see the rice. She's on tylan powder and probiotics.

3 y0 poodle (17 lbs) has chronic loose/mucuousy stools. was tested for worms and parasites, also treated w Tylan in March and was better for a short while. I have not seen a normal stool anymore than 20 times in the three years that Ive owned her. I feed fresh boiled chicken w supplements of dry dog food.

Hi happy holiday! hoping to get your opinion.. Trixie takes prednisolone every 24hrs as just one part of her small cell lymphoma treatment. I have it compounded into a liquid b/c she’s hard to pill and even giving the liquid is becoming difficult. Would it be as effective in a transdermal gel for her ear? I ask b/c I once tried a transdermal for my cats amlodipine and it didn’t control his blood pressure good enough.. wondering if it may be the same with the drug pred. thx!

Can tony take a lysine supplement with his other meds:amlodipine besylate, methimazole, tumil K potassium supplement and mirtazapine appetite stimulant? He also eats a kidney diet and I wonder if the powder lysine supplement may flavor the food and make him like it better? Thanks!!

Bella was put on Cephalexin 500 mg 3 times a day until gone. She was also put on Temaril-P tablets 1 1/2 tablets twice a day until gone. She was also given a spray for the hot spot which is Betagen Topical spray 120mL twice a day until healed.

Willis has been diagnosed with eosinophilic granuloma mass in his mouth. We’re about 3 months into treatments and specialists are stumped. Currently on 150mg Atopica once daily, doxycycline twice daily, 10mg prednisone 3 times daily and 10mg Pepcid once daily. They recently injected steroids directly into mass with minimal shrinkage. Now his CBC shows elevated basophils, liver and pancreatic enzymes. Thoughts? -Kim

My dog Jellie age 9 has SLO that attack’s her nails. She takes tramadol for pain. On 10/11/18 she had two teeth pulled and some warts removed. She started metacam on 10/12/18 one time a day in the morning. She’s also on doxycycline And pentoxifylline for the SLO. Is it ok to give her the tramadol while she’s on the metacam?

hi, i have a jack Russel tilly and she is gaining weight rapidly, she is having shortness of breath and also excessively drinking water. Sadly Tilly is old and has a tumour on her ear, she has been to the vet about this problem. I cant take her to the vet because i am old and unwell, I believe she could have cushings disease as all the symptoms match. I was going to order some vetoryl online but i am unsure and need advice. Thanks
