Have 2 male 4-month old brothers (orange tabby's. The area by their cat tree is always damp (believe they are peeing or spraying) yet they do use litter boxes. 1 litter box near the tree and 1 in our hall bath. Both cleaned regularly throughout the day. I'm baffled why the continued wetting the carpet. Also what is the best odor/stain eliminator product. We do have an 11 y.o. dog but they seem to get along okay. Thank you!
I have a 14 and a half year old cocker poo who has very bad dental disease and needs extractions. He also has early stage kidney disease. His vet suggested not to do the dental work because of his age and kidney disease. From my understanding thought dental disease can cause kidney disease in older dogs. So my question is, would it be better to do the dental work and remove the rotten teeth or just give him the recommended supplements to slow down the kidney disease.
My dog has itchy skin and patches of dry areas where he has scratched until the area is irritated. It looks like eczema and it seems to be a seasonal problem as it started very suddenly as the weather has started to change to fall.He is also shedding quite badly as a result.I have used tea tree shampoo and conditioner in the past and he seems to get relief. We are also giving him some Benadryl which helps. How often can I bathe him without drying his skin and can I use a safe topical of some kind?
The dog has been sick for two months. The cause is urine leakage, standing up and not urinating. It can urinate when it relaxes. We took him to a pet doctor. The doctor said there were kidney and liver problems. Here's our baby's examination report. What kind of medicine should we use?
Hi, I have been giving my cat IV Fluids at home for her kidney disease, and its been going well and her numbers have improved. Tonight I was having a hard time reading the bag And I almost gave a double dose which is 2.25 mil. The bag didn't seem to have enough air inside so the reading was off. She seems fine .She is on her sratching post and she is actually hungry. I feel so bad
My cat is 5 months old..she never gets out of the house..she is taking her vaccinations still..when i got back from work todays she was plating and eating as normal but her paws felt warmer and she shivered maybe twice..a stomach shiver..and she kinda breathed heavily for a while..what do i uave to do..no vet is open near me now
My dog has really bad rash and itching on his belly and the crease of each of his legs. He has licked and scratched spots until they are bright red or even broken the skin. I have given allergy medication and applied creams buts he’s still suffering. He takes 10mg of Zyrtec 2x a day but it’s not helping these more severe allergy symptoms.
My 2 year old Boston Terrier has a small red lump in between his toes and is constantly wanting to lick it and chew it. I put triple antibiotic on it, covered it with a gauze pad, and put a cone on his neck to prevent him from further licking his foot. It seems to get bigger and redder each day. He limps sometimes to try to keep weight off his foot. I would greatly appreciate some feedback on how to treat it or if I should bring him for a vet checkup.
just seen this on my dog its on her stomach in between her back legs shes a 6month old pitbull
My dog (a Yorkie) two days ago started to have strange muscle spasms around the stomach area. It started off every 30 minutes to an hour, and pressing on the area didn't seem to cause any pain. Three days later, and the spasms are almost non existent, but I'm not seeing any bad signs. She's eating well, drinking well (I think so) is not bloated, and does bathroom business normally. She SEEMS to be breathing normally as well. Could this be a stomach ache, or something else more serious?
