I am currently feeding my pug puppy Rachel ray with a little wet food mixed in but heard Rachel ray is not good I was thinking about switching him to hills science diet and was wondering if that would be better for him and if he still needs the wet food mixed In

Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?

My 14 year old Boston Terrier Oliver is having problems. Just a day ago I noticed when he would lift his head from sniffing, he would get startled at objects a full foot from his face. He also can't stand for long without his back legs sagging down, and he can't walk straight. He has had his vision problem for a while now, but the other symptoms started after my brother trapped him in a bag like a wild animal and Oliver flipped out BAD. Can you relate these problems to something specific? thanks
I my sheltie (32 pounds) experiencing arthritis 3 or 4 baby aspirin over four days. I know realize that was a bad thing to do. He coughed up small amounts each morning. The last baby a dpirrin was two days asgo. He's been active and, other than the tiny amount of vomiting, has been happy with my grandk7ds and walking with me. Tonight, i realized he hasn't been drinking his water. I gave him bright mind Purina and he ate only a little bit and vomited it up. He's been sleepy all day. Restless toni
Dr. Melanie: Hi! I'm taking in kitty next week for the recheck bld test but I'm a lil worried about her because she's sneezing quite a bit and her nasal discharge increased. I'm worried about pneumonia and possible liquid in her lungs when I gave her her meds even though I didn't tilt her head back . I know anesthesia can cause sneezing but this is day 3 post surgery..
My dog has recently started marking and lifting his leg up while peeing on walls, cars etc. He has also started gaining the habit of peeing and pooping on our couch and today itself he peed on my sister's bed. How do i prevent him from peeing on these things? Are there sprays which I can use to stop this habit?
My hens all seem to have vent gleet; with whitish droppings on their back feathers. I’ve tried giving apple cider vinegar, probiotics, and yogurt to them and it seemed to help a little but nothing has made it go away. Over the past few days my Olive Egger hen has been a bit lethargic. We thought it had something to do with the heat but we aren’t sure. She also started making a strange coping noise, almost like a gurgle or gasp in the back of her throat. Thanks for the help!
My cat’s colon/anus appears to be sticking out when she poops. I took her to the vet 2 weeks ago and the vet expressed her anal glands because they were full. Vet said that might be the cause. Any tips on what I could do? Her stools are formed and there is no blood. She doesn’t seem to be in pain when pooping. Also doesn’t scoot or lick her butt a lot. She eats Royal Canin Protein PD wet and dry because we were trying a hypoallergenic diet for my other cat, but neither of them appear allergic.
I noticed today that my cat, Moo, is missing a large portion of fur from the bottom and sides of his neck, but not the top. I attached a photo of the side, but he wouldn’t sit still for more. I’m pretty sure that he has been eating and drinking normally, he’s been pooping/going to the litter box, and he is otherwise acting normally. He has long, thick fur, and I’m very worried since he lost a large part. It wasn’t matted, so I have no idea why it came off. He lives with another NICE cat, FYI
