To get the most out of your PetSafe collar, turn off the product when not in use and test the battery at least once per month to ensure it’s working effectively.
First, choose a location on the ground floor of your home that’s dry, well-ventilated, and near a standard wall outlet and plug in your wireless fence transmitter. The transmitter functions as the center of the circular containment area, so choose a location that works with the boundaries you’d like. Next, test the containment area by turning on the transmitter, holding the test light tool to the contact points on the receiver collar and walking away from the transmitter. My cat has developed feline acne/black heads around his bottom lip. It went away briefly, but has come back and seems to now be spreading to the other side. I use ceramic water and food dishes and wash daily. The only cat with this is a 3 yo male orange/white Tabby--Jack. A friend suggested it may be a food allergy, but he doesn't show any symptoms of an allergy other than the acne. I have two neutered cats who love being outside. We live in a mountainous area with wildlife, so we are trying to keep them inside but they learned how to open doors. After speaking with our veterinarian I was able to train my dog not to run up to people or other dogs while off leash by using premium treats outside and less premium treats while indoors. My current issue is shes running into our neighbours backyard (new subdivision, no yard/fences etc.) because they throw food back there. I don’t drive and there’s no dog park nearby. Hi, my puppy dog is confused about where to poop. She sleeps in her bed in the balcony, and she pees normally in her pee pads in the balcony. But when it comes to poop, she thinks she needs to enter the house and poop in the carpet, as if the house would be the "exterior" and the right place. We recognize with treats when she pees in the balcony, but we're looking for a way to change her habit of wanting to poop inside the house. Thanks so much in advance!
