I have a Four discus fish with water wisteria(Hygrophila difformis plants ) . Can I add Rock salt(sodium chloride ) in aquarium this tank ? I have some adding this ....so any bad effects on plants and discus ?

I have plants with a mealy bugs infestation and would like to treat them with Neem oil. I have found information saying it has been used safely on cats for fleas and ticks, and would like to check that it is okay to spray the plants which my cat sits near before i use any. It's an expressed, not essential oil, diluted 2-3ml/gallon water. If it might harm my cat to spray it, i can also use it to water the plants with instead. Then she will not get any on her coat by bumping the plants.

So many people are creating natural hamster cages and using wood and plants in the cages... softwood seems to be bad for bedding.. but is there also a limit on wood when it comes to creating platforms, hideaways, and toys? Are plants also safe to put in there with them?

Hi! I am an aspiring plant lady but also the proud mama to two cat babies and am well aware of the potential of bringing plants into the home that are toxic to cats. Is the ASPCA a reliable source of information for their list of toxic and non-toxic plants? AND in terms of toxic plants, should they be banned from the home altogether or could they be kept in a no cats allowed room? (I'm sure pollen/dander/etc could still play a factor in cats health with this) I just wanted a for sure answer :)
