We are using the capstar flea control pills for our pets. We have two chihuahuas and a st bernard. One of our chihuahuas got the pill for our st Bernard and we need to know if she will be ok?
We have an occasional nocturnal feline visitor who sleeps on our patio to stay dry. We cannot bring this car inside, as we have a greyhound and Siamese and our apartment complex in Philadelphia, PA allows only two pets. Other than offering food and a warm blanket, how can we help this cat? Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mock
We currently feed our dog and cat Hill's Science Diet. However, we noticed the new Wellness brand in stores and were thinking of giving it a try. How does it compare to Hill's, and should we switch our pets to the Wellness food? I spoke with the receptionist at our vet, and she advised keeping them on Hill's. I'm just looking for a second opinion.
My dog is older, he's almost 12. Lately he has been showing signs of confusion and aggression. Not towards the family, but our other pets. He growls anytime he is touched. Our vet had done a "senior panel" and assured us he's healthy, but these psychological symptoms make me think otherwise.
Hello erythriol harmful to pets. I have an 11 year old shitzu who has arthritis and seizures how long and far should our walks be in the summer
We have 4 cats, Tempest and Eevee being our actual pets, the other two our roommate's. One of the cats is pooping and peeing just outside one of the 4 litter boxes. How can we figure out which cat it is so we know who to take to the vet to get Dx? My bf, myself, and our roommate all work and my bf is asleep in the day when the other two of us are working. We can't keep a constant eye and we have no money for a camera setup to monitor them.
My husband and I are at a total loss of what to do. Pippin is our beagle and he is 9 years old. 2 years ago he started moving slow and having trouble moving up the stairs. I'll go through each vet experience in case anyone eyes a source of what's happening now. For 16 months I repeatedly took him to our vets office, and he was treated for joint pain, and had his anal glands drained each time. I was getting frustrated because we really love our vets, we have 8 pets and really took our time find
Now that a tiger has tested positive for Covid-19, is there evidence that people can give it to our dogs or vocal versa? I work in healthcare and have some concerns. How does Covid-19 affect dogs? Is it the same as it is for people? Is it deadly? What can we do to protect our pets and is it necessary?
What is the best way to introduce our new cat to our current dogs?
What happened to our pet? What is the disease that our dog is having? How that disease will be cured?
Today we had to put our dog down. He began seizing more and also lost coordination in his back end. Our vet believes it was and infection in the brain, or a disease of the brain. He believed it was his cerebellum that was affected. What diseases or infections would be most likely to cause this and is their any prevention for other pets. He did say it could have been something he was predisposed to as well.
Our 10 month old German shepherd, Max, is very aggressive with his possessions, especially food, toward our senior chihuahuas, Baylee and Bruizer. We brought him home when he was 8 weeks and doesn't seem to be getting any better. At his current weight of 111 lbs, I'm afraid Baylee and Bruizer could be seriously injured if not killed. Do you have any suggestions? I'm thinking seriously of giving him to a family that doesn't have other pets Thank you
