My dog ate a naproxen accidentally

My cat accidentally ate half of a naproxen pill - is this fatal?

My 85 Pound Doberman just ate a 500mg Naproxen. I talked to an Emergency Vets Office and they advised that given her size she should be fine. Just double checking as I’m worried!

I didn’t know until after I got home but my 3 month old 5 lb puppy ate 200 mg of naproxen what should I do ? The vet doesn’t open till morning and it’s been about 8 hrs since he ingested it. From what my son told me.

I just got home and found my dog chewing on a bottle of naproxen. I don’t know if he ingested any pills. He’s 6 months old a pit/lab mix and the pills are 500mg. He’s acting normal and drinking a lot of water and has peed twice and pooped. No vomiting yet. What should I do?

I have a 6lb Chihuahua and she ate a piece of a Naproxen 500 mg. About a quarter of it she ate. She's been throwing up! She is drinking water though. Tried to give her mashed up banana. She ate about a quarter of it ,then threw it up 5 minutes later. What can I do for her, THANK YOU!

Hi! My 40 pound staffy had hip surgery about 8 months ago and has recovered well, but sometimes after a really strenuous day (off leash romp in the woods, lot of running at the dog park) he limps for a day or two following. During that time we don't take long walks & he's fine by day two or three. Is there any over the counter low dose pain med that I can give him during that time? How do aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, and acetaminophen react in dogs? What do you recommend?

im very worried my dog consumed some aleve we took him to the vet and he is on sulcrafate this is his 2nd dose and his stool is black please help me im scared for my dog

Are there any medications for pain or inflammation for humans that can be used for dogs? Such as: aspirin, Tylenol. Advil, Aleive, etc or scripts such as Celebrex etc. This would be for a 90 pound dog.
