My cat, Freya, is about 3.5 years old. She has always been confident in our house. Freya always make litter fly out of her litter box. At first she had a small litter box so we got her a bigger litter box but we still found litter everywhere. Then we got a litter box with a lid. Later we found Freya pulling litter out of the litter box with her paw. We are using the same litter the adoption center used before we got her. Does Freya just not like her litter?

Hi, I find myself having to vaccum the entire appartment twice a day because of my cat's litter spreading everywhere as soon as she does her business and exits the litter box. I have adopted 6 stray cats and they have been with me for the last 1 year. They have well settled in. One of them, I don't know who has been pissing outside the litter box( not around the house or anywhere) urine is always found under the litter box. How to understand and prevent my kitty from eliminating outside of her litter box? Have tried switching litter, tried feliway, cleaned the litter box area more often. Nothing seems to help.

Every single time i change the litter in the litter box, and there's completely new litter, my female cat mella keeps digging in aggressively throwing the litter outside the box. I try to take her out calmly of there since i don't want to scare her or make her feel it's wrong to go to the litter box, but she keeps going back.
