Sweetie had asthma attacks some time ago which I mistook for hairballs but I investigated and realized her symptoms matched sthma, I quickly changed her environment and food for possible allergens to see if that would help and it did. But she did have one this month due to someone petting her when they had too much cologne on, I have vet appt soon fo a rescue pump for sound of mind but I do not want her on any steriods due to their effects. If so what steriod inhailer has the least side effects?

What can I give my kitten for her upper respitory problem she's having a hard time breathin

My five year old male (neutered) cat was just diagnosed with asthma. We live in coastal Georgia and the pollen and allergens are abundant. He is a porch kitty and therefore lives mostly outside but is safe, dry, warm and comfortable on a porch. The medication prescribed will cost nearly $500/month which is not doable for me. Are there herbal medications I can try before I have to make the extremely difficult decision of ending his severe discomfort forever?

my cat's having flu, she was spayed 10 days ago. no vet available rite now in my area. what to do!! a very sudden climatic change.

My dog who is 10 yr old was diagnosed with allergy/asthma and was prescribed with ascoril ls, allercet m and azithral. However, azithral caused her to vomit, so was stopped. She is now panting while awake and when asleep respiratory rate is about 90. Plz help

hello, i noticed that my cat (6 months) breathe rate is high even in rest time 60 to 70 per minute. i took it to vet, he said normal, the whether is hot. i took the cat yesterday to another vet, he made an x-ray for lungs and he said there is some fluid in lungs. he gave me an antibiotic for the cat "Marbocyl P5mg" with some instructions, and he said he will be better in 3 days. pls tell me if this is right. i will attach the xray pic thank you in advance

taken cat in 4-5 times for cough 3 mths,put under for tests as he won’t cooperate. Found high ALT and a bit low PLT. Given supplements for high ALT. No allergies found, no other noticeable issues in X-rays. Also got sent home with trachial dilator and steroids to start a week after I stop using fragrances in the house, which she recommended for now. Live in Japan, vet hard to understand still as I’m learning Japanese but not enough yet. What other possibilities could this be? Didn’t think asthma

Is walnut litter a good litter to use on asthmatic cat? Also vet prescribed albuertol syrup 2 ml as needed, if sweetie is not coughing she should not take it until she does cough right?
