I have been using K9 advantix II for Pepe. It seemed the oral medication (forget the name, not BRAVECTO, my vet does not stock that one) was not working for ticks. I have used past 4 months, seemed to be working. However, now he has fleas! FRONTLINE PLUS worked well for Pugs that I had many years ago. I was advised against it, was told there was better stuff now. I have gone out to get some, but can I use it, the K9 advantix was put on 2 weeks ago. 3 Seresto collars were lost at daycare.

CARESHARE I just treated my dog for fleas with advantage shampoo. How soon can I give her the Trifexxus preventative? She was due for it when I found a flea on her but wasn't sure if I should give her both at the same time.

Hi! I've tried advantAge on my outdoor cat for the past couple of months and it seems to work for about a week then I start seeing flea dirt on my bed where she sleeps. i don't want to use revolution. Is it safe to try something else after a week and a half ? I was thinking of trying capstar then giving her comfortis. ( when is it safe to follow up with something else after giving her the capstar and is one capstar enough ?)Any other suggestions? I heard frontline doesn't work well. thank you !

My dogs are experiencing a bad flea outbreak. We used a generic for Frontline (fipronil) two weeks ago, with no results. I have purchased a generic for Advantix II (Imidacloprid, Permethrin, and Pyriproxyfen) and am wondering if I need to wait the full 4 weeks to use this, or if I can treat with the second medication now.

Can I use a tick repellent along with advantix? Can you recommend a product

Is Advantix II o.k. to use for ticks on dogs? I am so afraid of giving them something that will hurt them but next to the woods here there tend to be alot of ticks and it scares me. I have considered the pet pills that are given by the vet...but again... I am really afraid if once they are taken and the dog may have a bad effect.... then what? I want to protect them but there are alot of scare factors out there.
