READ ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE EACH USE. To apply, simply follow these instructions and repeat every 30 days: Use scissors to separate one blister and cut along dotted line to peel down foil to remove the applicator. Open the applicator by holding upright with foil side toward you and snap applicator tip. Next, Part the cats hair above the shoulder blades, at the base of the neck. Place the applicator tip just above the skin and squeeze. Apply entire contents of the applicator in a single spot directly onto the cats skin. Do not apply on top of the hair coat. Avoid contact with treated area until dry. Do not apply to cats weighing less than 1.5 lbs. or younger than 8 weeks of age. Do not allow your cat to ingest this product. Do not use more than one application per cat per month.
For external use only. Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks of age or less than 1.5 lbs. Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using any pesticide product.

Did the formula change? I have used Frontline for years with no problems. The last two boxes I used did not work. My cats still have fleas. I hate to buy another box.
- No, the formula for FRONTLINE® Plus for Cats has not changed. Flea infestations problems are complex. The life cycle of fleas means that new adults can be emerging daily. If there are animals in or around your house that are not on a flea prevention product, then fleas will continue to be a problem. All animals around the house need to be on flea prevention every month. Non-domesticated animals like raccoons and opossums are visiting the places where your cats live can help feed fleas and allow them to lay eggs. All dogs and cats in the household need to be treated with a species appropriate product to fully control existing flea populations. Do not reapply FRONTLINE® Plus for Cats for 30 days. Use once monthly to break the flea life cycle. You are likely seeing NEW fleas on your pet, which are jumping on your pet as it moves through infested areas in and around your home. Depending on the severity of the existing infestation, you may continue to see new fleas jumping on your pet for three months or more. Will front line plus treat ear mites and worms in cats
- The label does not state that it treats ear mites. The label does state that it kills fleas which can be the source of intestinal parasites.

I probably got half of it on the skin. Is that alright?
- I think some is better than none. But, I too have issues with cats jumping when I try to apply the Frontline. Not sure what they can do to make it easier.

When applying the treatment to my cats, can they stay inside? Won't the fleas jump off and move somewhere in my house? Or should I keep my cats outside for some minutes after applying?

The product says it kills adult fleas less within 24-48 hours. Does that include flea eggs?
- I Googled the ingredients. Here’s the answer. FRONTLINE Plus for Cats has 2 tough killing ingredients. The 1st, fipronil, kills adult fleas and ticks. The 2nd, (S)-methoprene, attacks flea eggs and larvae. They work together to kill all month long.

- Frontline also kills ticks. I have used frontline for over 5 years now and my 2 cats have never gotten ear mites. This product is the best. I have also used products from my Ver that cost more money and this still works better.
