Is this product replacing the canary specific pellets?

  1. I have a parrotlet and was feeding what you were feeding. From my research, Zupreem has phased it out, and the Parakeet Premium is the only alternative. I was afraid the pellets were too large for him, but he adjusted instantly. I'm pretty sure the formulas of the two are identical, so not to worry.

Natural pellets. Birds like better over colored.

Birds like natural flavor better than the mixed fruit. I now am mixing together and they are eating better. I started with natural from petco but I was worried because my new birds from petco were not eating much. So I tried the mixed fruit pellets and they ate less of those than the natural pellets. The pellets are definitely less messy than seeds. They love the millet spray but make a mess. I think the natural flavor pellets are better for the birds because I don't like feeding food with the bight coloring. I think it might be harmful.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My new baby parakeet loves this!

We recently got a hand raised 7 week old baby parakeet. After losing our last parakeet to liver disease we wanted to get this one off on the right start, since switching to pellets or non seed food doesn’t always work when they’re older (this was the case with our last one). Our vet recommended a pellet diet so I did some research and chose the Zupreem Natural. Our new guy barely touches his seed but gobbles the pellets up! Quality ingredients. No artificial colors. Would definitely recommend (if you’re switching make sure ti follow the instructions on the bag as to how to introduce the new food gradually).

Yes, I recommend this product.

My lovebirds and parakeets weren’t too crazy abt this food so I would just sprinkle some in their regular seed cups periodically.

The pellets are too big for parakeets. They need to make a superfine pellet like Harrisons for me to make a unbiased review on how they like it.

No, I do not recommend this product.
