Fairly easy to assemble; our cat took to it without any reservation. I needed somewhere to put kitty's food on to keep the dog from eating it, so her food goes on top. It's also an attractive alternative to a standard litter box, and it keeps the odors in for the most part. Have it right in our living room!

I needed some help putting them together but I was very happy for the litter benches to control smell and make it easier to have storage on top of the benches! The cats started using right away!!
