I ve noticed these things have different readings. Currently, I have 2 (more expensive) infrared thermometers- exact same make and model and new batteries.When I check side by side, different readings. How accurate is this? What's the temp range?

      Yea, surface temp. Just don't stick it underwater. I have one of these but bought a Lazer temp gun instead because this one you have to be an inch or so away from target area or temp is off the farther you are away from spot.

      Absolutely! This thermometer can read a wide range of temperatures. I tells me the warm side and the cold side with pinpoint accuracy.

    Too small. I lost the first one a week later. It comes with a small thin lanyard that wraps closely to the wrist.

    The digital infrared thermometer is handy to use. This is my 2nd one because the 1st one stopped working and there is no option to replace battery. Maybe they'll make one with a replaceable battery in the future.

    This is the tiniest little thing. The instructions are vague, and 'sleep mode' only activates when the battery is low, so its just constantly on until then. You really have to read the manual to figure out how to use it.
