can this work for a hamster sand bath
- Yes! Sifters, sieves, and things like this would work for a sand bath for hamsters! I use it to sift my gerbils sand and coco soil.

Will this scoop small pieces in a kitty litterbox? I've looked EVERYWHERE for a scoop that will do that.
- Hi Alexandra8, It might. Tough question to answer for us at Zoo Med. Since we haven’t tested this product on cat litter, I can’t say that it will work. The mesh is small and I would think that because of the small mesh, it will grab most of the cat litter (at least the brand that I use with my cats). I don’t believe much if any would fall through the screen because of how small the mesh is. Thanks

Can you use this item on reptile carpet?
- Yes, I use it on my reptile carpet and it is perfectly safe for the animal. I do run it under water after just because I am super cleansy when it comes to my pets.

Currently I am using calcium sand. It doesn’t seem to be effecting Ash at all. Should I continue to use the sand or get something else such as eco earth?
Today I’ve noticed my Leopard Geckos right eye has swollen ever so slightly, and has sand in it. The Gecko is EXTREMELY tame, and will let let me wash its eyes but I’m unsure on what I should use? Cotton Bud, Hot Water? Would like to fix this problem before it needs to be done by a vet. I have Desert Sand (Recommended by the shop owner of where I purchased my Gecko.) Hello, Cat litter isnt easily available in the place where I live, so we have trained our cats to use sand(regular clean sand used) for toilet purposes. Unfortunately, that is becoming a commodity of limited supply. The good news is that we live near the beach, so provided I change the litter two times in a day, can I use beach sand as litter adjacent? Also any idea as how to clean beach sand to remove any contingent bacteria or such, which in God's Grace should be none. Thank you. God Bless.

I adopted a sick Leopard Gecko from a local pet store. The pet store doesn't take good care of Leopard Geckos. They have dried Mealworms, no calcium, no humidity, and their all crowed in one hide. My Leopard Gecko Geo wasn't eating Mealworms or Crickets. She is underweight and her tail is skinny. I started to get concerned so I started syringe feeding her daily with ReptaBoost. Today I saw her throw up some of the mix. It looks like she was struggling to regurgitate. Also the humidity is high.
