The PowerSun UV is a self-ballasted mercury vapor lamp which emits UVA, UVB, and heat all in one lamp! Fits into a standard ceramic socket (No ballast needed). The 160 Watt projects UVB up to several feet from the lamps surface and is ideal for large terrariums or bird aviaries. Features include quality nickel-plated threads to prevent corrosion, and a full one year warranty!

I've had my first one for probably four months now. It's still working. My bearded dragon is healthy. I used to get different bulbs that were cheaper, but they need replaced about every month. I highly recommend these!

BEWARE! These blow out like candles on a birthday cake! I've gone through two since November, it is December 11th today! They randomly blow out and then you have to rush to get another one not to mention these are quite pricey. Going to see if I can get a new one or refund form the store but seeing how it's been 2 weeks I don't even know if they will.

I bought this bulb the end of November and it's not working anymore. when I paid almost 70$ for it I had expected it to last longer than a couple months. Not happy with this product at all.

Love these bulbs. Our tortoise requires certain lighting and this bulb is a combination of the 2 that he needs in one. So even though it seems pricey, its a great deal and more aesthetic to look at one rather than two in his enclosure

I’ve bought 3 bulbs from two different stores, and each time they’ve stopped working within minutes. Not sure if it’s my luck, but make sure you keep your receipt!

UVB and UVA in one bulb. Been using it on a timer for 3 weeks now. It holds temps great but be mindful of the basking distances from the bulb and get the right wattage for your animal and setup. No sense having to buy bulbs this spendy and have them not be as effective as you need. Plus don't forget to change your bulbs regularly to keep up the UVB as it'll still illuminate brightly but will be giving no UVB. Each brand has its own recommendations.

What is the UV% by distance? I need to know how much UV it puts off at 7” or 12”. The regular UV lights tell you a percentage but I can’t find this anywhere on here.
