    Does it read the temperature and Humidity or just temperature?? Because i have a Temp Gun i just need something for humidity,

      The digital thermometer only reads the temperature in the tank. If you are looking for a humidity gauge you can look at the Digital Combo thermometer and humidity gauge.

    can the probe be submerged in water and if so, what would be the ideal depth for an aquarium? (20 high)

      Yes, you will only deep the probe so no ideal depth as long as you can reach the top of the water and it will give you the temperature reading Fahrenheit or Celsius within few seconds. Hope this helps.

    i got this for my leopard gecko’s tank while i waited for his new thermostat to come in (manually turning off his mat in the meantime), and he got a tail burn due to this faulty product. i checked it with my thermal heat gun, and my thermometer reads 8 degrees LOWER than it should. That is EXTREMELY, and dangerous. Zoomed’s said it was 93 degrees when it actuality it was in the 100s. This could’ve KILLED my pet. i’ll never buy a product from petco again (besides how badly they neglect their animals in store)

    Works well. Ours somehow only came with one battery. Its potentially annoying that it requires those pricy batteries., we will see how long they last.
