[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before you buy the kit, make sure you have the right lid for the lights to sit on. That's the only thing this kit doesn't come with, although it does mention that it's sold separately on the instructions. The light fixtures are great quality and the added light bulbs are nice. This kit came with good sized bottles of water conditioner, and fixtures for the dock. The floating dock is good if you have a smaller turtle, but will need to be replaced with the XL one as the turtle grows. The little pack of river shrimp was a nice added treat and a pretty decent size pouch that should last me about a month.

We added the filter and it made a big difference to the turtle’s environment. The heated lamp also is a great item to have with the cooler weather.
