My 8 year old golden retriever is an excellent swimmer and likes to swim. Do you think it’s necessary to have him wear a life jacket?
My young dog (somewhere between 1-2 Y/O) loves to swim. However we do not have a pool so the best option is to take him to the local lake. Our leash isn’t long enough to let him get any further than 4 inches deep in the water so we let him off the leash to swim. He saw geese on the other side of the lake and tried to swim across. He got so far that I had to swim 60 yards into the lake and back to bring him back. Any advice to let him swim but stay away from another scary situation like today.

Hi. We have a 3 year old American yellow Labrador. He is 95lbs, quite muscular and very active!! He has had trouble with his front ankle since a puppy. From time to time when playing hard. My dog urine color is too yellowish
we have a 20 pound rat terrier mix in excellent health, not overweight. She is 11 yrs old and we were trying to fin d a carrier like a backpack to put her in for our long walks, when she gets tired. There are so many to choose from. I like the ones that we strap on the front of the human, and her legs stick out at the top and bottom just like a real baby. However I am concerned that the position might put too much pressure on her back end. What can you recommend?

I can only get a few styles in my country (attaching pics) and they all look painful to me. Which of these would be best? Or would any or none be a good choice? Would one wrapping around her legs be better than one wrapping around her belly? Thanks!
