This is Dexter, my gorgeous 7 year old rescued hound, & his 4 year old ball. He loves his ball & can find it anywhere we hide it in the house or yard. 2nd picture is his new ball. It squeaks like his old ball & smells like bacon. He seemed to like new ball & we played inside for a couple hours off & on. When I took him outside & threw it he ran to the ball sniffed it &walked away. The only ball he brings is the old one. What should I do? Thanx. Carolyn.
I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?

Hello, my dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix, (that's a mouthful!) and he destroys every toy we give him! He has never chewed on furniture, (even as a puppy) or clothes or shoes. But we've purchased every toy under the sun and he still rips them to shreds! We've gotten indestructible toys like, fire hose toys, Kong toys, etc. We gave him a thigh bone from a cow and he broke it with one chomp. Is there something better? Or do we just replace toys? Hi I just purchased a 2 year old dachshund a week ago. I was told by the breeder he liked crinkle toys, but he has shown no interest in toys, raw hides, or chews. Can I do anything to get him interested in these? I am worried that he cannot entertain himself when I am away because he pretty much follows me around everywhere or sits by me. I would like him to have toys that interest and make him happy when I cannot be with him all day. Do you have any tips on what I can do?Thank you!
Our Norweign Elkhound/Black Lab (60 lbs) chewed a chunck of her soft rubber ball about the size of a half dollar, I think she tore it in pieces because I found a couple of small pieces laying near by. They do not have sharp edges, it is after vet hours of course, she seems to be doing fine, what do I do?
