I have had my parakeet for about 1 month now. When cleaning his cage, I noticed that his cuttlebone seemed to be untouched. Due to this, I have moved it to be a tad bit more accessible, but it doesn't seem like he knows what to do with it. What should I do?

My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week.
