I WOULD GIVE THIS TOY NEGATIVE MILLION- MY BIRD HAD THE STRING WRAPPED AROUND HIS NECK AND COULD NOT GET OUT OF IT ON HIS OWN- I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I CAME HOME AND WAS ABLE TO CUT IT OFF HIM BEFORE SOMETHING REAL BAD HAPPEN- I DO NOT RECCOMEND ANY STRING TOYS FOR BIRDS

I am glad I got this toy. It looks very nice and my white-capped pionus parrot likes to rub her head and her body against it. I would recommend this toy to anyone with a parrot smaller than, perhaps, an African grey parrot. I originally bought it for the original price (which was $11.99), so I was expecting it to be a little bigger in size; because of this, I only gave it four stars. I think it would be worth buying again if it were on sale.

My parakeet will not touch this toy. I thought he would eventually warm up to it but it's been close to 2 weeks and he is still not interested in it. He prefers his wooden hanging toys with bells. Perhaps if this toy had a bell....
