we have a 20 pound rat terrier mix in excellent health, not overweight. She is 11 yrs old and we were trying to fin d a carrier like a backpack to put her in for our long walks, when she gets tired. There are so many to choose from. I like the ones that we strap on the front of the human, and her legs stick out at the top and bottom just like a real baby. However I am concerned that the position might put too much pressure on her back end. What can you recommend?

How to handle bowel incontinence in an older dog

My 3 1/2 month old miniature daushund, 6-7 lbs, Gretchen, eats her poop and our cats poop out of her litter box. What product do you recommend, dosage daily, to stop this habit and why is she attracted to eating her poop and the cat’s poop out of her litter box?! We are feeding her Taste of the Wild, Buffalo w/Venison Puppy Food. Also, can you recommend a higher grade Puppy Food that does not contain ANY grain at all. Our new puppy’s foster parent gave us some of his leftover food in a ziplock and 2 nurtirsource samples. Upon further inspection after he seemed to have stomach issues today they seemed to be different. We have yet to hear back from the foster and don’t know what brand the original was and can’t find nutrisource anywhere. We want to transition him to blue wilderness but only have enough of the old for tonight to combine. How should we go about weaning him without even knowing the original brand?

Yesterday my dog pooped out in two different tones half of it was a lighter brown and other half a dark color i picked it up with a paper towel and it left like a very dark color residue. Today she pooped normal color. Should I be concerned? We did start naturvet all in one supplements and they are a dark color. She is her normal self and eating normal. Should I be concerned?
