Is it easy to separate the frozen food into portions when frozen? Because the bigger bags are cheaper, I will like to buy the bigger bags and divide that into daily portions if possible. Thanks!
- Hi, I have been getting this frozen food for my 6yo GSD. I mix it with The Honest Kitchen food. I tried to get the bigger size to save money but it was too difficult to separate the portion sizes. It’s almost impossible to separate it while frozen. You may thaw it a bit, then separate the portions and freeze it again. However, I found it too cumbersome. So, I switched back to the smaller (18 oz) packs. I hope this helps!

I have decided to prepare Nala's food at home as opposed to store bought dog food. What would I need to add to a recipe containing following: Beef Liver 3lbs Lamb Hearts 2lbs Beef Tripe 1lb Ground Chicken 5 lbs Water - as need to incorporate beef stew bones 3lbs Brussel Sprouts .5 lb Butternut Squash 1lb Pink Himalayan Salt- 1 tbl I did cook all of this, although I know that raw is better, and then ground it all together.

Good morning. I’m giving my dog chewy nutrish wet food with wholehearted dry food is that good for him.
Bought purina one lamb and rice. Concerned on an ingredient. Chicken by product meal? Was taught bad for dogs and can be diesed animals. Mixing with 80 to 20 ratio of food the 80 percent is pure Balance trout and lentils grain free. But some of you say grains are good and they don’t have an allegry as they eat grained dog treats and Cheerios with no problems. Plus this food had real meat chucks and wanted to train them to eat dry food only. Thanks!
