Longcoat chi. Excessive Itching, licking especialy after eating (for 60 minutes), hair loss patches on chest, face, ears limbs, butt. Ears & feet look slightly greasy. Have tried limited ingredient chicken, Pork, lamb, turkey. Natures variety and Fromms (worse on Fromms) suggestions on dry food? Live in CA, so can't order kangaroo here. Better quality kibble only. I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. looking for a urinary tract wet cat food for my very picky 8 year old. will not eat any classic or pate. currently eating purina one urinary tract in gravy. he has the dry food and wont eat it even if I mix them together. does not like the licks either.
What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
