My kitten is 4 months old. She refused to eat any wet food that comes in a can. I tried Iam (individual portions in plastic containers) she eats it but not so much anymore, tried more caned food... no luck. Now I tried Wiskas kitten wet food in plastic containers individual servings and she likes it. What can I do to get her to eat the good quality wet food or the ones she likes are really bad? Am I overfeeding my kitten? I rescued a stray kitten about 3 weeks ago. He is currently 17 weeks old. He eats Wholehearted canned food (grain-free, chicken or chicken and tuna). He can typically eat 2 (5 oz) cans and 1 (3oz) can broken up throughout the day. Today, he ate the (5oz) can for meal 1, then a 3 oz can 30 min later, and has eaten another 2 (3oz) cans and it is only 7pm. He weighs 4 pounds. He seems healthy just seems to eat WAY more than all the websites suggest.
I have an 8 month old 10 lb BIG maile kitten.He is very long and has bit paws. I assume he is still growing. How much should I be feeding him: 3 wet 3 oz cans and a little dry food - more or less? I can feel his spine but not his ribs. His wet food is 10% protein, usually chicken or chicken & liver. All is no grain. I keep reading different things.
