The brush has coating over the bristles so they do not hurt the skin of our pets. The bristles also have some give to them so are not so hard for sensitive skin and coats. The handle is made to conform to the hand so is easy to use.

I love that it's made of bamboo. It is aesthetically pleasing and doesn't even look like an animal brush. It's gentle which is nice for 1 of my 3 cats who doesn't like the rough brushes. My girl cat could be brushed with it all day long

This is a good and sturdy bamboo brush. It is a good quality and does not feel cheaply made at all. Our girls loved getting brushed with it, especially our wire haired girl. The bristles are also very sturdy. This brush makes grooming time better.

I received this product for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Three characteristics stand out as I used this awesome little brush. First, that bamboo handled is shaped to be super-comfortable in my arthritic hands. That's a big deal to me. Second, the knobbies on the ends of the pins are large enough and round enough to protect my dogs' skin from discomfort while I brush them. Finally, and most important to me, the brush works well on all three of my dogs: It's gentle enough for my little girl with soft hair that likes to mat; it pulls the loose hair out of my medium girl with a shepherdish coat; it provides a great backside scratch for my big girl with a whippet-like who lives for scratchers on her back, way back. Any time I can find a single product that does the job for the entire pack. I am one happy dog mom!

This brush was very useful and it was able to comb my dog’s hair well. The bristles were very soft and was able to comb through a lot of the tangles. I would buy this again for my dog. The quality of the brush is also very good.

This brush is great for certain types of dog fur. I have a long haired Border Collie and a Shiba Inu. It does great with my Border Collie hair, collecting loose undercoat and fluffing him up. My Shiba Inu, whose coat is like a Husky or Malamute for those not familiar with Shibas, is blowing his coat out and I was so excited to use this brush for him. However, it didn’t really work well. It gathered up the loose hair on top but the bristles aren’t strong enough to go thru the undercoat shed well. He loved the gentle massage I gave him with this brush, but it wasn’t very practical for getting the loosened fur cleaned up. I will continue using this brush on my Border Collie, tho. It was great. I just recommend really researching what brush styles work best for your dog’s specific fur.

The brush is good to the dogs with long hair. My dog is yorkie poo and trim short usually, so this brush is too rough and big for her. It seems good for her when her hair grows. I usually use comb so I want to use both depending on the hair length.

Our dogs haven't always loved when we would brush them. I received this brush to try and my dogs LOVE it! When they see me get the brush out they come sit right in front of me pushing on my legs because they want to go first. It is well made, easy to grip and gentle on the fur babies.
