Questions
How long can I continue giving this to my cat? There is a lot of sugar in this product so I am concerned.
- I am not sure, but I would think it all depends on why you are giving this to your cat. A cat not eating well may only need this until it's appetite improves and starts to regain weight. The best is always to ask your vet. I used it because my cat had chronic renal failure and lost a lot of weight. It worked great.

I thought the nutri-cal chews were suppose to be malt flavored. My cat loves that flavor because of her hairball medication. It is chicken and liver

- It would be better to give them Tomlyn Nutri-Cal For Kittens. The nutritional profiles of the kitten type are specifically designed for their needs. Just as an example, the one for adult cats has crude protein of 0.7% and crude fat of 34.5%. The one for kittens has crude protein of 154.8 mg/teaspoon and crude fat of 1078.8 mg/teaspoon. The kittens need that extra protein and fat.

My cat is a 8 year old American shorthair. She's healthy other than having developed a cough in the last month. We took her to the Vet. They prescribed "VETOQUINOL LAXATONE".
