Longcoat chi. Excessive Itching, licking especialy after eating (for 60 minutes), hair loss patches on chest, face, ears limbs, butt. Ears & feet look slightly greasy. Have tried limited ingredient chicken, Pork, lamb, turkey. Natures variety and Fromms (worse on Fromms) suggestions on dry food? Live in CA, so can't order kangaroo here. Better quality kibble only. Hey! My dog ate some food that was left out for maybe 7 hours accidentally. Stella and Chewy’s ‘Meal Mixers’, chicken based freeze dried raw — if you add water, it says to consume within 2 hours. She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat. She eats canned but due to several teeth removed cannot eat dry. She is a dachshund of normal weight and good health. She is still an active walker.
Recently, Tot refuses to eat anything other than canned stew types of dog food. However, her stomach is extremely sensitive, despite slow transitions, stool is liquid. Her vet has prescribed pro-pectilin, which seems to help, but not enough. She currently eats Dave's pet food stews. We have also tried Instinct with the same result. She is 14 and is in what I've been told is the end stages of heart disease, so I want her to have the best food possible. Any suggestions?
