Seems healthy but cat doesn’t care for it

MEK22

I researched a lot to try a good option for my overweight cat, and this seemed like a good product, however, she didn’t really like it when I tried to transition to it. She’s not really picky (hence her weight issues) so not sure why. We’ve tried a lot of prescription and diet plans. So now I just give her a little every morning when she’s hungry just to finish the bag. I’ve switched her to Wholehearted Weight which is much lower in calories (and lower in protein unfortunately), and seems more satisfied with a lot less.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought for my cat in hopes that it would help with weight loss, however she doesn’t seem to care for it, which is odd because she was never a picky eater (hence her weight issue). I researched a lot and this seems like a really healthy option, but she will only eat if really hungry, so have been feeding a small amount in the morning just to finish the bag. Transitioned her to Wholehearted Weight control with a much lower calorie count (and lower protein, unfortunately) to see if that will work.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My cats have been eating this for a couple months. They do seem to be getting a bit leaner, and they seem to like it as much as they liked their previous dry food (Tiki Cat Born Carnivore)

Yes, I recommend this product.

I finally found a cat food that satisfies my over weight cat but allows her to have a reasonable portion of food( because of fiber and lower calories)and she actually leaves some in the bowl for later ..I like that because I work long hours at a time and in the past her bowls been empty for 14 hours..no w there a still a few pieces left and I know she isn't starving.i have also noticed the beginning of her weight decreasing, slowly but that is the best way.im thankful to have finally found a food that works for us and also the great deal that Petco offers can't be beat!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Vet wanted the boys to lose some weight, so we tried this. They did not like this food as much as we hoped, still mixing it in with other kibbles, and they sometimes pick it out. They usually like Tiki Cat, and enjoy the other products. We looked at the product in store and on tiki website before purchasing

No, I do not recommend this product.

Why is this food so hard to get?

My cats love this food and I am glad that it is lower in calories than the "traditional" Tiki. I would give it 5 stars except it is so hard to get this food. It goes on backorder and then Petco emails to say it is in stock, I go to buy it and it is NOT in stock. Their stores do not carry it so you have to buy it online. Also, you can only buy 1 bag at a time. I tried to order 2 last time as I have 2 cats and they only sell small bags (another downfall) but they would only allow me to purchase 1 bag. I don't get it. Very annoying. I'd give the food 5 stars and 0 stars to Tiki and Petco for the "aggravation factor".

No, I do not recommend this product.
