Hello. So right now for my baby crested gecko tank set up I have a 10 gallon with live plants and some wood. (First time reptile owner) I have had this problem before. There are these VERY small little silver bugs and they are in the dirt and also on the wood. I didn’t make this bio active. I don’t think they are on the plants but there is a lot. I am using the dirt bricks and last time this happened I cleaned out his tank but they are back. They are not on my crestie. Are these ok? Suggestions?
Can I give my Chilean rosey red-haired tarantula green Hornworms as an alternative food source, then the Dubia hissing cockroach it lrg crickets
Hi, I’m having a problem with a tiny white bug infestation in my amphibians tanks, they arrived in damp substrate that came with a frog and now I can’t get rid of them. They are the same size as a spring tail but slow moving and round, maybe a mite? Any advice on how to get rid of them greatly appreciated as they keep coming back especially around damp areas
I adopted a sick Leopard Gecko from a local pet store. The pet store doesn't take good care of Leopard Geckos. They have dried Mealworms, no calcium, no humidity, and their all crowed in one hide. My Leopard Gecko Geo wasn't eating Mealworms or Crickets. She is underweight and her tail is skinny. I started to get concerned so I started syringe feeding her daily with ReptaBoost. Today I saw her throw up some of the mix. It looks like she was struggling to regurgitate. Also the humidity is high.
I am wondering if I can use food grade diatomaceous earth in my green anoles terrarium that has mites
My leopard gecko wont eat mealworms. What should I do?
Hello! I have noticed tiny white bugs in my rabbits droppings, they are all over her hutch and when I clean it out they just come back! I was also holding the bunny today and noticed they were crawling out her fur. They are everywhere help!
Why are there a bunch of gnats in my crested geckos live terrarium? Maybe 5-7 in one terrarium. I have two live terrariums. They aren’t on my gecko just one the dirt, plants, wood, etc.
I have a seven year old red knee female tarantula. She has been climbing her tank and has been extremely active and refuses to eat. Recently I have noticed a few mites in her tank on which I haven't experienced before. I think maybe perhaps I need new substrate and maybe a bigger tank. What do you suggest?
Wat should I feed my soft shell turtle???
Hello! My name is Taryn and I recently used this website to ask about my 2 1/2 month old bearded dragon, Otho. He was not eating at all for about 4 days, showing no interest in food at all. Today, however, he managed to eat only two crickets. Better than nothing! However, he just had some really strange feces come out. (Pictures below). Might this be a parasite?? I'm not sure. Thankyou to whoever helps me out! :) (I have no exotic vet near me...)
- my gf caught this lizard in Jeju, South Korea; we think it's of the Takydromus family; she is caring for him because she's worried about his injury - she has ordered mealworms for him to eat--any other recommendations? - he has had one of his hind feet torn off--should she do anything to treat the wound? - her room gets a good deal of sunlight during the day, but is it enough, or does he need additional special lighting? any other suggestions for improving his living conditions?
