I have always given my turtle ReptoMin for the past 14 years. Are there any other foods or treats i can feed her?
I have a red eared slider who is 1 and a half year old. The commercial pellet box suggests that I feed my turtle twice as much as she can eat. Should I follow this, however even if I give 20 pellets at a time, my turtle eats it.

My red eared slider turtle is hiding constantly staying under the rock and filter and he’s not sunbathing I’ve had him for 2&1/2 years and he hasn’t grown a whole lot, I’ve only been feeding him 3-4 “floating reptile sticks” every day since then. I’m worried about the little guy should I be feeding him more or something else also I don’t know if his tank is ideal for his species I’ve never met anyone else with a turtle and I haven’t had anyone to get advice from. How often should I feed my turtle? She is a young red eared slider. She is 3 in a half years old. And I'm new to this. I've been told by a different vet to feed her everyday once a day. But not sure how many pellets to feed her. I used to feed her 20 pellets of a brand that came from PetSmart. That they recommended. Since I'm on low in come. She is 5.5 inches. And not sure what to do with the amount I should feed feed her.
