Questions
I have a 20 gallon standard tank can I use the tetra 60 air pump to run a under gravel filter a diffuser and a bubble stone. I want a pump with two outlets. I know I can use airflow control valves but don't want to restrict the pump too much. Thank you.
- We would not recommend going any larger than a Whisper 40 unless the bubble stone is the length of the tank. If your application is too small, you will damage the diaphragms prematurely in the air pump.

Can I use this for two separate tanks one a 20 and the other a 10 I know I can use the little black t shape parts to control the flow of the air. But can I use the 60?
- It may be more pump than you need, but that depends on how far away the tanks are from each other. This pump has two ports on it. If you have more than two items to run, use quality tees and manifolds.

This unit vibrates alot and I cannot figure out how to stop it. Its on a solid surface and I put a napkin under it. It will do it for no reason?
- Thank you for your question. We would recommend you email our team at petsupport@spectrumbrands.com for some troubleshooting help with this product. Make sure it is not restricted too much. This can occur for example, if you are using a small air stone in a small tank and the air is not able to be be released as rapidly as necessary. Back pressure will occur and cause the air pump to vibrate.

Can I use this air pump 20 in my aquarium tank for 10 gallons
- Yes, depending on what you want to run it with - small air stone vs. bubble wand for example. Sponge filter? Ornament? If the item is kind of small you may need a valve to reduce the flow some what.

okay to use a more powerful pump in a smaller tank? I have a 20 gallon tank and don't want to lose power. Also, is there such a thing as adding to much air.. Will a few airline stones bubbler accessories potentially harm 12 guppies Molly,shrimp,snail?
- Also, if you water is a whitish color you could be adding too much air to your tank.

I am considering using this in a homemade filtration system for my turtle tank. Would it be advisable since my turtles have killed the last two systems made for turtle tanks?
- Filter systems stop filtering because they become clogged with sludge, algae, hard water deposits, etc. Turtles produce a lot of waste so this means you need to take filter systems apart more frequently and clean them, but turtles don't damage filter systems, typically. This is an air pump, not a filter, and will not be suitable for a turtle tank. You need a large canister filter like the Magniflow 360 if you have a 55-60 gallon turtle tank. Also, the tank should be at least 3/4 of the way filled to provide ample swimming room for an adult turtle. This will allow the canister filter to work really well at keeping the tank clean.

Help! The submersible pump on my 3.7 gallon is making loud motor sounds and spitting out small bubbles that by morning cover the whole top of the tank. I’m scared for my fishes life what should I do?

So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
