A well-balanced tarantula diet consists of appropriately sized live insects, such as gut-loaded (recently fed) crickets, mealworms, superworms, roaches. Some species may eat frozen/thawed pinkie mice, thawed/warmed to room temperature.
Always wash your hands before and after handling your reptile and/or habitat contents to help prevent the potential spread of diseases.

I have a seven year old red knee female tarantula. She has been climbing her tank and has been extremely active and refuses to eat. Recently I have noticed a few mites in her tank on which I haven't experienced before. I think maybe perhaps I need new substrate and maybe a bigger tank. What do you suggest?
Brown recluse or wolf spider?
My 9 month old cat Fay, brought me a small tarantula (no longer alive) in her mouth, I don't know if she found it that way or not. I quickly took it away and she is constantly licking her lips and mouth and shaking her head a little bit. What should I do?
I belive this might be a spider bit what can i do to treat it at home he has had it for about 2 weeks
Our puppy (12 week old Shih Tzu) just stepped on an Asp (a poisonous little caterpillar that are common in Texas). We are wondering if there is any remedy that can make him feel better.

What are the first steps I take if Tiny were to get bit by a Wolf Spider? He’s 12.40lbs and 2yrs old. He hasn’t got bit, but I did kill a wolf spider and I’m scared if he gets bit. And are baby wolf spiders even worst?
Please help with my chameleon
My new juvenile ball python has refused food for almost a month. She is loosing weight and I can see her spine. I have tried live and F/T. She has no noticeable external parasites. Hot spot temp is 88 F, humidity is 65-70%, ambient temp is 75 F. Should I consider assisted feeding?
My puppy ate a spider I coated in fly spray 5 days prior. my partner finally went to pick it up for me as i have serious issues with spiders and it’s gone. I tried to keep the pups away from it but the little one is very sneaky. I have attached a photo of the can
My cat was playing with a spider and I went to grab it when he tried to eat it. I got the spider but he started wiping his mouth and tongue and licking around his mouth a lot for about 5-10 min after. It’s been about 40 min and he’s stopped doing that but I’m wondering if I should be on the lookout for anything indicating that he got bit or if it was poisonous. I added a picture of the spider, as I couldn’t identify it. Thank you!
