At Sustainably Yours, we set out to create a litter that is both high-performing and environmentally friendly. Our plant-based formula is full of benefits for both you and your cat-all while remaining sustainable. Mixed-grain formula for balanced performance.

  • - OUTSTANDING ODOR CONTROL: Our proprietary formula instantly traps urine odor and prevents its build-up. And we never use fragrance, so there are no artificial scents that can irritate both cats and people
  • - EXCEPTIONAL CLUMPING: Because our litter is made exclusively from corn and cassava, it's naturally rich in starches. This results in dry, fast-forming, and firm clumps that you can trust to stay together while scooping and cleaning your litter box
  • - VIRTUALLY NO DUST: Our proprietary machinery removes dust at key points in the production process, resulting in a litter that protects cats from possible respiratory issues-and your home from a dusty mess
  • - LIGHT AND BRIGHT COLOR: Lighter in color than alternatives, making it easier to keep the litter box tidy and spot differences in your cat's urine
  • - LONG-LASTING PERFORMANCE: We don't just outperform other litters- we outlest them. Our litter lets you buy less and save more
  • - NATURAL AND SUSTAINABLE: Our litter is made exclusively from renewable crops of corn and cassava

Better

This is better than the large grain cat litter. I think it has more of the small grain cat litter mixed in with the large grain so it's not as grainy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Clumps hard

We have four cats

Clumps extremely hard, so hard that is stuck to the stainless steel pan. I mixed 50/50 with another corn litter product (Worlds Best). Clumps well, low odor, a lot less track out than regular clay litter

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hardest clumps ever!

Hardest clumps ever! They are like concrete. Clumps that fall apart are one of my biggest concerns. I have 10 cats, 7 of whom are feral, so easy litter box cleaning is a must with that many boxes.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Best cat litter available

This is absolutely the best cat litter you will ever find! It clumps hard so it's super easy to scoop. The grains go through the scooper super fast which cuts down on scooping time. There are no heavy perfumes which cats do not like and are unhealthy for them to breathe in. It's lower dust and tracking then others. I have a litter box with sustainably yours and a second litter box with world's best cat litter, green (My second choice litter) and my six cats by far prefer sustainably yours, evidenced by the fullness of the box each day.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Don’t get me wrong this litter works perfectly and I would still recommend it to others! It clumps very well and doesn’t fall apart when scooped, low dust, doesn’t smell and covers up the worst smelling poops. The one downfall was tracking, but if you are getting anything other than pellets it’s gonna track no matter what the advertising says. The only reason why I am giving this a 3 star review is because I can no longer use it. My cat developed a urinary blockage a couple weeks after starting this new litter, switching over from pine pellets previously. I eliminated this litter only because it COULD have been a factor as it was the only thing that was recently new to him, even though he has tried out other litters in the past with no issues (clay, crystals, pine and this product). But on the other hand we have been having some construction done in the house which is also a stressor. So I truly have no idea what caused the blockage but am choosing the safe route of going back to pine pellets to not end up at the emergency vet again.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

With the new bag design, I don't know if it Is the multi-grain or the small grain that used to be the multi-cat plus. Does anybody know?

  1. I have always ordered the multi-cat and it is large grain. I don't know about multi- cat plus.

What is the package made of? Is it plastic or mostly paper? If plastic, is it recyclable with store drop off? So many brands claiming to be sustainable use plastic packaging.

I'm looking for a litter that does not get between my cats toes. He has an injured foot and we are trying our best to keep it clean. The litter we have now continues to get stuck in between his injured toes.

    1. Unfortunately, this litter will still get stuck in paws. It has bigger grains than the other products in this line, but still gets tracked some in our house. For short-term use, I’d recommend a pellet-type litter. Hope you can find something that works!

Is this product tested for cyanide & aflatoxins?

    1. My cat won't use anything else. It states that the litter contains no chemicals or toxins! Sorry I don't know about specific tests.

Is the cassava processed to remove cyanide?

    1. After reading about how processing cassava  I am sure this product doesn’t contain cyanide. The cat would also have to eat a lot of it even if it did. BTW there were less then a handful of deaths in Uganda from cyanide poisoning with flour that had not been skinned well and boiled. Cats are more likely to get kidney disease and die from eating lilies! The whole plant is toxic to them. Just a tiny bit can damage their kidneys.

How long does a 13 pound bag last for one cat?

    1. We've been using the multi cat for just over a month I'd guess. We have 3 indoor cats and we're averaging almost 2 weeks/bag. We are at home so I tend to pull at least the poo when I see it- or make sure it's covered. Add litter when it starts getting low, and eventually change it 100% when I start seeing bits of stuff too small to sift out. But the litter still works, even with the bits in it! They all use the same box with no issue. Except for the one cat who tends to hang her back end out too close to the entry point. That's what mats are for :-) I have found that in the Winter with dry static filled air- it does track. Quickly. I've gone to pet my black DSH and found it clinging to half his tail. I'm hoping as weather changes it won't cling so much. Otherwise, it's a keeper!
