Are these arid or tropical? I need some for a leopard gecko enclosure but do not want to buy the wrong ones

  1. They're perfect for leopard geckos, you'll be fine.

i am going to be using these in a vivarium for my crested gecko. Will these survive in a tropical environment?

  1. yep! perfect for cresties

This seems kinda expensive, do you get enough for your money?

  1. Absolutely not. Most of them come dead if you're lucky enough to get more than a handful. Trust the reviews. You're more likely to get nothing than you are to get a full container.

What if I have an open enclosure with no lid? Will they escape and travel around the house or stay with my tortoises?

  1. No, isopod and springtails will stay in your substrate.  The springtails will “jump” but are so tiny they don’t get far.  Isopods prefer hanging out under wood or dishes and rarely go far.

What is the best substrate to keep these in for a tokay gecko

  1. Dirt mixed in with the sand carpet used in the -Bearded dragon enclosure set up video by EMZOTIC-sand carpet mixed wth dirt on top

Are these available in store, or are they online order only?

Will these stay small enough that is my anole wanted to, he could eat them? The main reason I want them is as a clean up crew for the vivarium I am making inside the reptibreeze I bought. I Will be lining it with a coroplast base and a growbag inside.

    1. You're going to lose springtails in a reptibreeze

How big is a pack? I have 4 leopard geckos and a bearded dragon and I'm trying to figure out how much i need to buy.

    1. It’s simpler than you think. Isopods springtails and other bioactive bugs multiply quickly meaning all you must do is put half of them to work in some of your terrariums and the other half to multiply and eventually have enough for all of your terrariums! Does this answer you question?

Empty cups with no isopods or springtails.

Empty cups! I’ve ordered isopods and springtails many times and these cups were all completely empty. I even monitored for eggs hatching and they were empty. The springtail cups were drenched with water and anything in there would have drown.

No, I do not recommend this product.
