The Spotted Sharpnose Puffer is brown with a white belly, white spots all over their body, and their eyes are bright green and red. They are unique in how they move; unlike other fish this puffer will use its pectoral fins to move forward and backwards. Their scaleless body makes them sensitive to parameter changes. Puffers will inflate their body when threatened, so to prevent this try using a container when transferring the fish instead of a net. The Spotted Sharpnose is not reef safe because they will nip at corals and all invertebrates, as well as tank mates that are slow or have very long fins. To reduce aggression, provide plenty of hiding places and keep the puffer well fed. Since they have sharp beaklike teeth, provide a diet with shelled items and meaty food to help prevent the beak from getting overgrown. Their small adult size of about 3" makes them ideal for smaller aquariums. Their longer snout also allows them to get into crevices for food.

Hello, I'd like to ask for a specification on my turtle's breed and age so I can provide him with the best care. It looks like a map turtle, considering the plastron markings, but I am not sure about its exact breed. I'd also like to ask about its age since I can't pinpoint it. the carapace width is between 3 and 4 cm (1 and 1.5in). Thank you in advance.
We recently bought a Betta from a chain store pet shop. He is currently in a 10 gallon tank with a heater. He’s been eating and swimming around, acting fine. The first day we had him I noticed this bump. (Didn’t notice in the petstore but hard to see in those cups they keep them in) Here’s a side shot. Looks like one tiny fluid filled bump, size of a scale. Any ideas?
There is an odd growth under his or her left eye. None of the other 7 fish have it. We treat the water with ick gaurd and it is the size of a puple it has been there for just about 2 weeks now. What is it
Hey so I have have 10 goldfish that are all about 10-20cm long (tail included) in a 6ft tank and Larry which is one of my Fish has a white patch on the side of him could you please tell me what this is and how to tear it please help Me I love him so much.☺️☺️☺️Ps hope you can see the white dot in the photo thank you
Hi here, I’m really worried about my fish. He has this red spot and I don’t know if it’s something to be concerned about
I have a freshwater pufferfish and he isn’t eating the fish flakes like the other 6 fish in the tank (red tail shark, clown loach, and tetras). Do they need to be fed live or frozen food? He also butts into the aquarium walls here and there. Is this caused because of stress or anxiety? If so how can I fix that as well.
Hello, I would also like to ask about the breed and age of this turtle, I have him since September 2019 so he is older than 6 months. Its shell width is almost 5cm (almost 2in). It looks like a caspian pond turtle but I want to make sure so I can provide good care. Thank you in advance.
I have just brought a new rapheal spooted catfish what care should I take as it is with discuss arrowana and blue angel pls will u share me the link how to hold it
My turtle has this white and black spot on it's head and I'm worried about it.
A female(?) Molly fish with swollen belly, isolated from the other fish in the tank. Had for approximately 17 days.
I just received Spooky in place of a different algae eater that I had. Spooky is a baby. And is a bristle nose algae eater. And I'm not very sure on the way on how to care for this fella very well yet. I am talking to a breeder about the little one. And it's to young to know gender too. Please help me learn what it needs.
These are my turtles , are they growing and shedding shell or do they have some disease which is causing these marks and spots.?
