Remove toy from packaging.To install batteries remove screw on the bottom of toy with a Phillips screwdriver and insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) and replace cover and screw, do not overtighten.Pull orange plastic tab to trigger motion-activated flashing lights in ball.Press power button to activate spinning motion and place on floor.Press power button again to turn off spinning motion.

For pets only. Remove if any part becomes loose or detached. Supervise and do not allow pet to ingest any parts. Remove all packaging.

I was disappointed. I thought this was motion activated. It has a button on the side that a human has to push which causes the feather to move one full turn around the ball. It doesn't do what I thought. If the movement lasted longer after pushing the button it would have been much better, but to keep pushing the button for it to only move once which lasts about 1 second is extremely inconvenient. I can't believe they are charging $20 for this. Dont waste your money. Spend $20 on a better quality cat toy!
