So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
If I have a 1-gallon tank for 1 betta fish how long do I keep my filter on? My filter is GPH is adjustable.
My gold fish is floating around like a ballon, not moving it’s fins and floating upside down and staying next to air pump.
I accidentally bought ich x for saltwater. I’m wondering if I can use it in my freshwater tank?
All of my 7 Fush are gulping on the top of the tank and I'm doing a water change now will that help I'm really scared pls help
Have a girl cichlid fish she isn't moving her tail but lays on the plants she can move her pectoral fins but she can't move her tail I did a water change and cleaned the plastic plants
Is hydrogen peroxide safe to use on aquarium fish
Is this tank big enough/small enough to hold goldfish fry (these fish will not be in it we are just cleaning up there other tank)
Is it safe to buy a UV Sterilizer Green killer filter for my turtles? The water gets dirty really fast and I've pretty much tried everything, but the algae keeps growing fast. The problem is that I've seen a lot of negative reviews on that filter, saying that it got their fish killed. Now, I've done some research on that and found out that that UV lights could damage both animals and humans, however the very few reviews that were written by turtle owners were positive. Is it totally safe?
How to do clean water which fill in aquarium if doesn't have water conditioner?
My fish has a bump on his head I’ve been using Pimafix and meta fix treatments and not sure what to do now
I recently got a tropical fish tank off of craigslist. There's two black skirt tetras, one white tetra (might also be a skirt), and one guppy. All 4 recently had ick. The three tetra get along well but the guppy is making me worried. He was at the bottom of the tank when we got him but he still swims around to eat. Is there anything I can do to make sure he gets better? P.s. We are doing a 30% water change after I get a response. I also have money set aside to buy him a school. Thank you!
