I'm wondering if I could use this for brackish water and if so, how much should I use for a 20 gallon tank?

so if I have 10 gallon tank, I use around 1ml only?

    1. Yes, that is correct. According to their website, the dose should be 0.85 mL. But since it would be inconvenient to get that amount measured out you could opt to dose an entire 1 mL. You could also dose the equivalent which would be 1/6 capful or 16 drops.

Will this help prevent algea growth on my plants? I have a 15 gallon beta tank and have lost past plants to what seemed to be decay. Also is it safe for beta fish?

    1. It is safe for Betta fish; however, it is not for preventing algae. Water conditions and tank location are the biggest factors in algae growth.

how much and how often do I use in a15 gallon tank?

    1. The Seachem website has a dosage calculator. They suggested "1.3 ml (.3 caps)" once or twice a week. Each cap thread is approximately 1 ml. And they recommend refrigerating the bottle 3 months after opening it.

Is this safe to use in a tank with fish??

    1. Yes, if you follow the directions on the label this should pose no problem to your freshwater fish.

Can this be used in a tank with a turtle in it? I am setting up a tank with live plants, fish and a turtle, but wanted to know how safe it is for my little guy.

Is this a all in one fertilizer?

      1. yes; it does the job for all my plants, maybe one or two dosages a week. I turned the filter off and leave the bubbler on so that the chemicals circulate nicely for about 30 hours

How much of a dosage is safe for a 5 gallon?

      1. Roughly you would cut a ten gallon dosage in half. However, Dosages very based on water changes. One lid thread equals 1-mill.  Also there website used to to have an online dosing calculator. I roughly cut the ten gallon amount in half. Hope this helps.

How much would the dosage be for a 4 gallon aquarium with many plants?

Does this contain copper or anything that's harmful to snails? I want to know if it's safe to use in a planted tank with snails. Also does this work for Marimo moss balls?

        1. I use it every 10 days in my Shrimp tank. No problems, great for plants.

        Fatal Flaws of product

This product is incredibly susceptible to heat. The product has before opening has a foul stench. Seachem Flourish does not have any form of measurements for smaller tanks. They're unit of measurement is by threads on the the cap which is inaccurate. The product also leaks after usage from the cap. This product is more expensive than API Leaf Zone which my local petco did not have in stock I will be sticking with API products. This product killed my 2 year old Zebra Angel and Bala Sharks.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Make sure if you’re purchasing online, the cap isn’t already open. Opening the cap and the seal had broken off already and exploded.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My tank and plants were doing ok. I bought a plant light and everything. Then I used this stuff and it killed my plants and made my water nasty. I will NOT be buying this stuff ever again. This is my 2nd time using it and same results both times.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not sure why people are saying this doesn't work. My tanks have a full glossostigma carpet and guppy grass. They are showing insane growth in just two weeks of dosage and looking greener than ever. My only problem is the trimming I'll have to do soon.

        Yes, I recommend this product.
